Invalid sim

It tells me my SIM card needs to be updated. Is there anyway to do this without bringing it into the store? I have the same problem. I believe the Tmobile rep switch the original card that came with the phone with another sim card for some reason. I now have the TM Dont know if this is the issue. The sim card that is required for your device to be able to wifi call is labeled with a TM so if you have a TM you need to update that at your local T-Mobile store. Changed my sim card to a TM and it worked.

Thanks Keith. Happy New Year to everyone! Been having same issue with my LG G3 lately. Same sim that came with the phone.

Do they ever require upgrades to continue working? I've also gotten a no USIM message. Is this a free exchange from t-mobile or do we need to pay more money for it? Do we just need a new sim card or do we need to replace the phone? I went to a local T-Mobile store and the people there are only interested in selling me a new phone. They said they sent something to my phone to update the sim.

It started working for about 20 minutes and again "invalid sim". Buying a new phone is a last resort as they are not cheap. I called customer service and they sent a signal to my sim. How can you send a signal to my sim, if I don't have any data connection on my phone? I was told someone would be calling me back in 24 hours that was 5 days ago and no return call.

Should I continue to wait for a callback or buy a new phone? If I have to buy a new phone, I may switch my service as Tmobile does not seem interested in helping resolve my issue.
